Annual Reunion & AGM 2025

The Annual Reunion and AGM of King’s College Hospital Nurses’ League took place on Saturday 10th May 2025 in the Boardroom at King’s College Hospital.

It was an extremely happy event attended by just over 40 members and honorary members. Many people sent their apologies who would have liked to be there but were prevented for one reason or another.

We had a most interesting talk in the morning from Michael O’Toole,  CNS for Trauma Nursing, who told us much about the types of injuries that are treated successfully these days, and the way the hospital works in conjunction with the air ambulance service.

There was much chatting over the lunch break and the smaller numbers made it easier to chat to most people who were there.

The chapel service was both reflective and inspiring, and we were fortunate to have the Bromley Boys singers with us again this year to enhance our worship. The Rev Barrie Newton, chaplain at King’s during the 1970s and an honorary member of the League  gave us a most thought provoking sermon, for which we are very grateful.

The videos from the morning lecture and the chapel service are below for you to watch.

Next year’s Reunion and AGM should be held on Saturday 9th May 2026, but please check your Journal or this page nearer the time to ensure we have managed to secure a venue etc.
